Short drop in visits are ideal for young puppies, senior dogs and families who are working during the day.

Young puppies require a lot of extra care and attention. Puppies who are crate training can be let out for toilet breaks outside in the safety of their garden, and any training commands can be carried out to help aid and continue their existing training. Any small accidents can also be taken care of and cleaned up. Very young puppies between 8 - 12 weeks will also often require extra feeding if they are on 3 - 4 feeds per day. Good, positive interaction and social experiences are so important at this early stage of your pup's development. Leaving your new puppy to go to work can be very difficult, but a day time drop in visit can help you feel at ease knowing your puppy is receiving the love and care he/she needs.

You may feel a longer, extended drop in may be better suited to your dog, especially if your dog suffers with signs of separation anxiety and requires some extra TLC and companionship.

Some older, senior dogs are more comfortable in their own home in an environment they are familiar with. As with young puppies, they may require more frequent toilet breaks throughout the day. They also require extra care in the form of snuggles and kisses!

Drop in visits are also perfect for dog paw-rents who are out of the house for long periods of time during the day and are looking to break up their dog's day. Perhaps you are able to escape your desk for an hour (or half an hour!) to pop home for lunch but would like an additional visit to keep your dog happy and stimulated throughout the day. If you have concerns of potential separation anxiety and possible stress-induced destructive behaviours, regular short visits may help reduce your dog's anxieties.

- Giving them a small treat before leaving (if required)
